Starvation in The Phillipines

they do not worry about the recession times.
they do not worry about the swine flu.
they do not worry about what to wear tmw.
they do not worry about much stuffs.
their main worry everyday is whether
they have enough food to eat
and whether they have enough clean water to bathe and drink for the next day.
But right here in singapore,
we do not worry about all that.
we worry whether will the swine flu hit us.
we worry about when the economy will bull up.
we worry about what to wear for tmw.
we worry about every little things.
Because we know, we always have enough food to eat and clean water to drink.
and most of us took granted of what we have.
we waste food,
we waste water,
we took every single thing for granted.
okay now, just spent a minute thinking about those who are suffering from starvation.
while you are reading this in the comfort of your home,
think about what they are doing now.
are they searching for food?
waiting for their time to come?
lying around in a place full of dirts and rubbish?
what i wanna send across is that, please do not waste food and water.
in singapore alone, we threw away about 0.6 million tonnes of food each year
and only 9% of it are recycled.
